I'm a yoga teacher, mum, and advocate for helping Mum's make time for themselves in a way that actually feels achievable, sustainable and guilt-free.
I know how easy it is to put yourself at the bottom of your own to-do list. Between being a Mum, work, family, endless to-do lists and the general mental clutter of the everyday, finding time for yourself can feel impossible sometimes.
Even when we find a little time for ourselves, a voice often reminds us of everything else we should be doing. We do those things and then wonder why our patience is so short, why we snapped at the kids, and why we acted in ways we never wanted to as parents.
It's not your fault - you are just burning out and fast!
Taking care of yourself shouldn't feel like another task on your to-do list.
It should feel possible. Even amongst the chaos of real life.
Yoga has been my anchor throughout motherhood. Sure, it's looked very different to before I had my son, because there are alot of factors that influence how I schedule the day, but I still turn to my Yoga practice for an opportunity to give my brain a break.
Yoga hasn't made motherhood easy, but it has given me tools to navigate it. To recognise my emotions, regulate my nervous system, find little pockets of calm and reconnect with myself when I feel a little lost in all the roles I play.
My biggest learning early post-partum was that having a whole hour for a mindful, movement practice wasn't always possible but that taking 10-15 minutes for me still has a compound effect and I walk away feeling more regulated, peaceful and ready to keep going.
And that's exactly what I want to help you discover for yourself. Because you want some time where you don't have to use your brain, you don't have to think about what comes next and you don't have to make yet another decision.
Kindest, Jas
It took me a little while to arrive at what I wanted to create for an online and on-demand Yoga Membership.
I knew it needed to be on demand, because Babies have their own schedules and I definitely didn't want Mums experiencing what I had, paying for classes and not being able to do them because they were needed by Babies, Toddlers and everyone else.
I also knew I wanted it to be easily accessible and not Mums left wondering what class they should do and managing decision fatigue. So, I created a monthly calendar and "course" so it's all at your fingertips.
Each week, there are about 3 classes to do ranging from Yoga, Meditation and Breathwork which can be done by the calendar or all at the end of the week. This is how The Yoga Mum Club shifted from an idea to an actual reality.
The Yoga Mum Club
The Yoga Mum Club is all about helping you take care of yourself and stay connected, so you can recharge without piling more stress onto your already busy life.
Through accessible yoga classes, meditation, mindful movement, I want to help you create small, realistic habits that support your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing.
Not by adding more to your already full plate, but by helping you find little pockets of time that are actually doable in and around Mum life.
It doesn’t have to be tricky. Just find what works for you, keep it simple, and stick with it in a way that actually feels doable.
Here, you'll be encouraged to:
Some days you might have 30 minutes for yoga. Other days, five minutes of breathing might be all you can manage.
Both count. Both matter.
Because consistency isn't about doing everything perfectly. It's about finding ways to keep showing up for yourself, even when life gets messy.
The Yoga Mum Club.
Yoga. Friendship. No pretending that we have our shit together.
